TWO new ladies will enter the fray on season four of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, and it’ll take more than this Halloween photoshoot to rattle them.
SHOWING nerves of steel, two new ladies will enter the fray on season four of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, starting in December.
It takes more than a photoshoot with Gina Liano and Janet Roach to rattle these recruits; glamorous lawyer Venus Behbahani-Clark and hotelier/homewares queen Sally Bloomfield.
Iranian-born Behbahani-Clark, who grew up in Italy, knows Liano from her legal days.
“I’ve known Gina for almost a decade,” she said. “She’s a barrister, and I’m a solicitor, and we’ve worked in the same jurisdiction.”
Bloomfield said joining the cast “wasn’t really on my radar,” but she was encouraged by her sons, who are 15 and 9.
“My son said, ‘oh my God mum, you were born to be on this show.
“He was the one who talked me into it, because my husband (Ian Robertson) had only passed away not long before that.
“I thought, ‘Why not?’ ”

Viewers were shocked by the drink-flinging antics of the ladies’ northern colleagues, The Real Housewives of Sydney, but Behbahani-Clark warns not to expect that kind of behaviour in Melbourne.
“We’ve all had our moments, but that’s not our style,” she said.
“And my daughter asked me, “please don’t throw anything around on TV’.”
Former housewives Chyka Keebaugh, Pettifleur Berenger and Susie McLean are not returning for the show’s fourth season.
Gamble Breaux, Jackie Gillies, Lydia Schiavello, Janet and Gina will be back.
