Recently I was asked to give a talk for a Mother’s Day breakfast at my old school Toorak College. It was not something I had done before and I wasn’t sure what I should be talking about. I guess when you are just living your life you don’t think that it is anything out of the ordinary but to outsiders it looks completely different.
This charity is one that I love. This year it is exciting because I have been asked to MC the lunch. Nicole Porritt and Leigh O’Neill started Bright Futures and all the money goes to the Bali Childrens Foundation. The Founder of BCF, Marg Barry was awarded an OBE this year. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it, but what an incredible honour for all the work Marg does for all the children in Bali and she is an absolute legend and a top woman to boot!!
