KX Pilates

I have to fess up that I didn’t start exercising until just after my second boy Jules was born when I was 43. I was lucky growing up that I had a slender frame and could eat whatever I wanted, but after two kids, well things go where you don’t necessarily want them to,  and so I had a personal trainer for a while but then got into Reformer Pilates. Ian and I would do it together and when we moved to Bali we did it several times a week.  It was the one thing I had ever done that I didn’t try to get out of!! Trust me, if its windy, too cold, too hot, too far, a full moon or any other excuse I could think of, I would try to get out of any form of exercise…

Ten years later and I am still doing Pilates, and even though I have had a few breaks in between, it is what I always go back to. I am currently having classes at KX on the Mornington Peninsula.  I go 3 times a week and just love the gentle nature of it and the changes I see in my body and shape. It took me a while to get used to KX as there are 10 beds there and I am used only having 4 maximum, but I quite like the bigger group and you can go at your own pace.
